Suspect held over car damage, knife threat
TAWAU: A 44-year-old local was arrested for allegedly scratching his neighbour’s car and threatening him with a knife in Taman Ria 3 last Friday.

Acting Tawau District Police Chief Supt Champin Piuh said the victim lodged a police report.

Champin said the victim confronted the suspect, who then reacted aggressively by brandishing a knife, causing the victim to fear for his safety.

Following the report lodged at the Tawau Police Station at about 3.15pm, a team from the District Criminal Investigation Department (BSJ) arrested the suspect.
