RANAU: A 30-year-old man sustained injuries after falling during a paragliding activity at Ranau Paragliding Park on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred near the take-off area, where the man reportedly veered off course and landed in a bushy area.
He managed to exit the site unaided before the arrival of firefighters from the Ranau Fire and Rescue Station.
The medical team at the scene provided initial treatment before transferring him by ambulance to the hospital for further care.
The operation, involving seven fire personnel and medical officers, concluded at 1.31pm.
