QUEZON CITY: A father in Quezon City recently jumped into a flooded construction site to rescue his young son, who had accidentally fallen in.

The incident, captured on video and shared on Facebook, shows the child slipping into a deep hole while running after his father.

The father immediately turned back and leapt into the fast-moving water to save his son, as floodwater and debris surged into the opening.

Onlookers quickly stepped in to assist, helping both father and child out of the water to safety.

The episode has prompted reminders to families to stay cautious around unfinished roads, especially during the rainy season.
