KUNAK: Several people, including the driver and passengers of a four-wheel-drive (4WD), were injured after it skidded off the road at Jalan Pangi-Kunak, Saturday afternoon.
A nearby villager said he was shocked upon hearing a loud crash outside his house and saw that a vehicle had gone off the road into a grassy area.
“Some of them were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment,” he said.
Villagers also rushed to help the victims at the scene.
It was learnt that the vehicle was carrying a group of courier company workers.
They were on their way back from Sarinah Beach in Pangi when the incident occurred.
The number of injured persons has not been confirmed.
