LAHAD DATU: Police here arrested three sisters who were suspected of using an ATM card belonging to other individuals to buy various items.

District Police Chief, ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said, all three suspects aged between 39 to 44 were detained on Monday by Commercial Crime Investigation Division cops.

He said the arrest was made following a report lodged by the owner of the ATM card after noticing that the card was missing.

"Result of a check with the bank found that the card has been used without the victim's permission at several shopping centre,” he said, adding that the suspects were believed to bought things using the card and pay using PayWave.

Dzulbaharin added that the three sisters were currently in their custody for further investigation under Section 4(1) of the Computer Crimes Act 1997.
