“There were other personal belongings of Zara that were handed over to the police. We also handed over the clothes and personal items she was wearing during the incident,” he said.

Lawyers Hamid and Shahlan Jufri had earlier said they would be handing over all of Zara’s clothing and personal belongings, including those worn during the incident, to the police.

The lawyers had also said the police had never collected or requested from their client all of Zara’s clothing and belongings for investigation purposes.

As such, the lawyers are of the view that the investigation paper submitted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers is incomplete, lacking in scope, and very limited in its investigation parameters.
