KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Governor Tun Musa Aman has called for a comprehensive and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir, according to a statement from Istana Seri Kinabalu on Monday.

The Palace said the investigation must be carried out with diligence, without fear or favour, and guided solely by the pursuit of truth and justice.

It stressed that seeking justice is not an act of vengeance but a fulfilment of the duty to protect the vulnerable and hold wrongdoers accountable.

The public, particularly social media users, were urged not to speculate, spread unfounded claims, or promote conspiracy theories that could compromise the investigation and cause further distress to the family.
