PAPAR: A 42-year-old man was injured when a cement lorry overturned along Jalan Manggis near SK Kogopon here on Monday afternoon.

The victim was freed from the vehicle by members of the public before being taken to hospital in a private vehicle for further treatment.

Firefighters from the Papar station later secured the scene by disconnecting the lorry’s battery and conducting checks to ensure there were no further hazards.
