KOTA BELUD: A 63-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a 10-tonne lorry at Jalan Kudat Bypass near the Lebak Moyoh traffic lights on Tuesday morning.
District police chief Supt Shahrudin Mat Husain said initial investigations found the lorry, driven by a 60-year-old man, was turning right when it sideswiped the victim’s motorcycle.
The victim suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body was sent to Kota Belud Hospital’s forensics unit, and the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
