“Although we previously faced financial challenges, we have successfully rebounded. Last year, the company posted a post-tax profit of RM9 million, while this year we are targeting around RM7 million.
“I am confident this positive growth will further strengthen the company’s position and benefit the local economy and community.
“At present, Angkatan Hebat has 600 vehicles and plans to increase this to 1,000 units within the next two to three years.
“This is expected to be achieved with purchases from several government departments and approval from the Ministry of Finance,” he said after paying a courtesy call on Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman at Istana Seri Kinabalu, Tuesday.
He emphasised that the company, which manages the State Government’s vehicle fleet, is also active in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, contributing to suraus, churches, schools, tahfiz centres and other community groups through a special allocation managed by the company.
Also present were Deputy Chairman Datuk Dr Stephen Jacob Jimbangan, Chief Executive Officer Faez Ainstein Nordin, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Kwan Yeen Yee.
