Institution of Engineers Malaysia Sabah Branch gain valuable insights at TM Tg Aru Cable Landing Station

Kota Kinabalu: Members of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) Sabah Branch gained valuable insights into critical telecommunications infrastructure during a technical visit to the TM Tanjung Aru Cable Landing Station, Thursday.

The half-day visit provided a platform for engaging discussions on emerging technologies and challenges facing the telecommunications sector, while offering participants a firsthand look at the sophisticated systems that power Malaysia’s digital connectivity.

Station Manager Mohd Ghazali Mohd Azim briefed the engineers on the facility’s crucial role in supporting national and regional communications.

He detailed the station’s infrastructure and the comprehensive measures in place to ensure network resilience and security.
