SABAH FC’s first game in the new Super League season ended with a 1-1 draw at the Kuala Lumpur City FC at the KLFA Stadium on Wednesday.
We were actually heading for a defeat until lanky Gabriel Peres became the saviour for the team when he scored in the dying seconds with a well-timed header for the equaliser.
I thought Sabah FC had a very good game in the first half and had many chances to score but no one was clinical enough to put the ball into the back of the net.
It was the same scenario like last season although Darren Lok, Fergus Tierney and Miguel Cifuentes combined quite well in attacks.
