KOTA BELUD: The body of a 46-year-old foreign man was found washed ashore at Kampung Rampayan Laut after he is believed to have fallen into the sea while fishing on Saturday morning.

District police chief Supet Shahrudin Mat Husain said a police team was dispatched to the scene after receiving information on the discovery.

Initial investigations suggested that the man had gone fishing near the river mouth when his boat capsized due to strong waves, causing him to fall into the sea and be swept away by the current.
