 Police launch manhunt after baby found abandoned at Lahad Datu
The baby abandoned at a  plantation in Jalan Silam.
LAHAD DATU: Police here have launched a manhunt for the suspect(s) of an abandoned baby boy at a plantation in Jalan Silam.

District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the baby was found alive at Kampung Sri Aman, Jalan Silam, Tuesday.

“The baby was immediately taken to the Lahad Datu Hospital for further treatment.

“Investigation is ongoing under Section 317 of the Penal Code for exposure and abandonment of a child,” he said.
