KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Youth Council (MBS) has urged Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) to consider adding more daily convocation sessions to prevent extra costs for students and parents.
Its President, Abqaree Fawwaz Abekan (

He said the additional sessions would help UMS keep to its schedule without extending the overall duration of the convocation period.
Abqaree added that convocation day was a milestone for students and families who had sacrificed time, energy and finances to celebrate their academic journey.
He reminded all parties not to overlook the issue, stressing that convocation represents recognition of years of hard work and dedication towards knowledge.
