TAWAU: Kelab Rakan Muda (KRM) Tawau was named Best Operational Body at the 2025 ARPRM Gold Awards, held at the National Sports Council, Kuala Lumpur, on Saturday (8 Nov).

Twenty youth from Tawau received the ARPRM Gold Award, part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, recognising active participation in programs that develop personal growth. 

The award is open to youths aged 14–24 and is internationally recognised in 144 countries.

The Tawau recipients included students from SMK Tawau, SMK Jalan Apas, and IPGM Sabah, guided by KRM mentors.
