KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi launched BN’s state election campaign under the slogan ‘Bikin Balik Sabah’ (Rebuild Sabah), urging unity to revive the state’s economy, improve infrastructure, and restore Sabah’s pride.
Zahid pledged that, if re-elected, BN would ensure clean water and stable electricity across Sabah within three years and emphasised that BN Sabah is fully led by locals.
Sabah BN Chief, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin meanwhile urged party workers to prioritise victory over personal preferences and criticised local parties for failing to deliver on promises.
PBRS President Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup and MCA President Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong reaffirmed their parties’ loyalty to BN, highlighting past contributions to Sabah’s security and development.
The event drew strong support, with Zahid calling the election a defining moment to rebuild and renew the state.
