TAWAU: Former Kukusan assemblywoman Datuk Rina Jainal (

She said the timing appeared unusual and claimed it could have been intended to prevent her from being renominated in the upcoming state election.
Rina added that she had never resigned from the party and continued carrying out her duties, saying any internal issues should have been resolved through proper discussions.
She claimed the decision had unsettled grassroots supporters in Kukusan who had been preparing for the polls and were left confused by the development.
Rina said she remains committed to serving the people despite the political setback and will decide her next steps after consulting supporters and family.
