TUARAN: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah finalised its slate of 55 candidates for the 17th Sabah election with the announcement of the remaining four names on Thursday.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said on Thursday that the additional candidates complete the coalition’s lineup for the state polls.
The four candidates are Dr Bonaventure Boniface for Tamparuli, Rafie Robert Tawik for Bingkor, Samsiah Usman for Kukusan and Datuk Hassan A Gani Pg Amir for Sebatik.
Hajiji said the candidates bring varied backgrounds and experience, adding that he believes they are capable of securing victory for the coalition.
He urged GRS supporters to stay united as the coalition seeks a renewed mandate to continue its development agenda in Sabah.
