Kota Kinabalu: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) candidates Datuk George Hiew Vun Zin (Karamunting) and Datuk Jamawi Jaafar (Melalap) expressed their gratitude to Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor for giving his blessing to their candidacies under the PKR banner in the upcoming Sabah Election.
George said the meeting with Hajiji took place shortly after PKR’s candidate announcements, as both he and Jamawi wanted to personally thank the Chief Minister for his support, despite contesting under a different party logo.
“Although we are contesting under different symbols, our goal remains the same — to continue serving the people and strengthen cooperation between the state and federal governments for Sabah’s betterment,” he said on Wednesday.
