RANAU: The Kundasang and Paginatan seats both attracted 10 contenders from various parties.
Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) candidate and incumbent Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam said this showed that the coalition’s supporters needed to further strengthen their unity.
The Keranaan seat sees a seven-cornered fight.
Dr Joachim, who is also a former Deputy Chief Minister, said the people must unite because what they are pursuing is development for their respective areas.
“There must be cooperation. That is our message for the strength of GRS in this election,” he said.
GRS candidate for Karanaan, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, and GRS candidate for Paginatan, Datuk Abidin Madingkir, were present.
