TUARAN: Carretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said Gabungan Rakyat Sabah has built a solid base through the Hala Tuju Sabah Maju Jaya plan and is seeking a renewed mandate to keep Sabah on track for long-term progress.
He told the GRS Sulaman election machinery in Lok Batik that the coalition’s achievements over the past five years show its capability and its focus on improving lives, especially for low-income families.
Hajiji highlighted initiatives such as monthly RM300 aid for 100,000 hardcore poor households and the Rumah Mesra SMJ programme, which expanded housing access far beyond previous levels.
He said the State Government has also begun tackling long-standing issues in water, electricity and education, including new treatment plants, the Ulu Padas Hydroelectric Dam and RM1.3 billion invested in human capital.
Hajiji urged voters to judge parties by their record as Sabah heads into a crowded state election, expressing confidence that a well-prepared GRS machinery will deliver a strong result in Sulaman and beyond.
