SANDAKAN: GRS candidate for Sungai Manila Hazem Mubarak Musa thanked media practitioners for helping the public make sense of fast-changing information ahead of the 17th Sabah state election.

He said traditional media remains vital for older readers who still depend on verified reporting to follow current events.

Hazem noted that while digital platforms offer speed and reach, they also heighten the risk of misinformation, especially with AI capable of altering visuals and narratives.

He urged the media to continue explaining GRS’ achievements to younger voters, saying many criticisms of the coalition are based on inaccurate claims.
