Kota Kinabalu: Federal Secretary Datuk Mohd Razali Wahab urged heads of federal departments to focus on coordinating the implementation of Federal Government policies and programmes in Sabah.
He also reminded all federal departments in Sabah to strengthen cooperation in supporting the State’s development agenda.
Razali said preparedness, inter-departmental cooperation and integrity in governance are key priorities in facing any eventuality.
“This approach is crucial to ensuring that the public service in the State remains efficient and responsive to the needs of the people,” he said while chairing the 4th Meeting of the Liaison Committee for Heads of Federal Departments and Federal Statutory Bodies in Sabah for 2025, here.
The meeting was attended by 142 heads of federal departments and statutory bodies.
The meeting also featured five presentations, namely from the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia, and the Department of Minerals and Geoscience Malaysia.
Also present was the Chief Executive of Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (SEDIA), Datuk Seri Hashim Paijan.
