Unity will favour Barisan Nasional, says Asyraf
Asyraf said BN was never rejected by the people of Sabah, but instead fell due to the actions of several leaders who defected.
SANDAKAN: Umno Secretary-General Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki is confident the Barisan Nasional (BN) “blue wave” in Sabah is showing increasingly strong momentum ahead of the 17th State Election.

According to him, this confidence stems from several key factors, including the unity of BN candidates contesting all 45 state seats.

“In all 45 seats where BN is contesting, we have absolutely no issues. There are no candidates sulking or running as Independents, unlike in other parties,” he said.

Present was BN candidate for Sungai Sibuga, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir.

“Our machinery from all over the country hav been stationed here for five months. House-to-house visits, headcounts, and outreach to families have long been carried out.

“What we promote as ‘Bikin Balik Sabah’ has truly resonated with the people. They can see clear differences in basic infrastructure such as water, electricity, and roads,” he said.

Asyraf said BN was never rejected by the people of Sabah, but instead fell due to the actions of several leaders who defected.

“Barisan Nasional never lost in Sabah. We were only betrayed by leaders. This sentiment truly lingers in the hearts of the people,” he said.
