‘Key to Sabah’ remains with Sabahans under GRS: Nizam
TAWAU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) information chief Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan (pic) insisted today that the “key to Sabah” has always remained with Sabahans under the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government.

He said claims that Putrajaya controlled state decisions were unfounded, noting that Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and the State Government shaped their own policies throughout GRS’s tenure.

Speaking after meeting supporters at the Apas district polling centre on Sunday, the GRS candidate dismissed such allegations as election-season talk from parties contesting all 73 seats alone.

Nizam said GRS prioritised cooperation with the Federal Government to secure development for Sabah, citing upgrades to Tawau Airport and new housing under the Residensi Rakyat Programme.
