KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) deputy secretary-general Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (

He said Warisan’s tendency to dismiss the contributions of others while claiming to be the “most MA63” was misleading, pointing to the party’s attempt to claim credit for the recent High Court ruling in favour of the Sabah Law Society on the 40 per cent special grant.
Armizan said Warisan had refused to consider legal action when in power between 2018 and 2020, including on the 5 per cent State Sales Tax issue, but now presents itself as the hero following SLS’s success in court.
He said SLS itself had acknowledged the GRS-led government’s consistent role in defending Sabah’s constitutional rights, including providing historic revenue records and affirming the state’s entitlement as a subsisting right during court proceedings.
Armizan said he welcomed any party fighting for Sabah’s rights but had to respond when Warisan claimed exclusivity, urging voters instead to “choose GRS” in defending the state’s interests.
