KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Dr Roland Chia has thanked voters in N18 Inanam and accepted the outcome of the recent Sabah state election with what he described as full respect for the people’s decision.
“I fully respect the wishes of the people of N18 Inanam as reflected in the outcome of the election but my commitment to the community remains unchanged.
“Since 2013, I have worked closely with our community, and I will continue to do so with dedication," he said.
He congratulated the new assemblywoman, Edna Majimbun, saying she has been entrusted with the mandate of the electorate and commended the 11 other candidates for their admirable competitive spirit.
Chia also expressed gratitude to residents across urban, suburban and rural areas for their continued support, noting that Inanam will always remain close to his heart.
