LAHAD DATU: Police arrested three men and seized syabu in two separate operations at Kampung Lok Banga, Jalan Lahad Datu-Tungku, on Wednesday.
District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the first suspect was detained following a raid on an unnumbered house in the area.
During the 4am raid, police discovered eight translucent plastic packets containing substances believed to be syabu with aluminium foils.
“The suspect who tested positive for drugs and the case is being investigated under Section 39A(2) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952,” he said.
According to Dzulbaharin, two other men were arrested in the same location after their urine tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
Both suspects were detained under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
