LAHAD DATU: A senior citizen was among two men arrested for possessing drugs, here, on Monday.
District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail said the duo were detained in separate operations.
The first suspect, a 73-year-old, was arrested at 10.30am at Kampung Sarang Burung, Jalan Lahad Datu-Tungku.
Police found substances believed to be Syabu in his possession.
The suspect also tested positive for drug abuse.
“The second suspect, a 51-year-old, was arrested at Jalan Dam. He was also found having Syabu in his possession and tested positive for drugs,” said Dzulbaharin.
Both suspects are being investigated under Section 12(2) and Section 15(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
