KENINGAU: The Persatuan Keluarga Keturunan Pahlawan Ontoros @ Antenom (Pusaka) distributed food to underprivileged descendants of the association in conjunction with the celebration of Christmas and New Year.

Pusaka President Sinawat @ Welly Antakah said the contributions were channelled to the heads of the seven lineage of descendants to be distributed to those in need.

The lineage comprises seven families of the Ontoros @ Antenom descendants, namely, Aru Sungulan, Aru Bait, Aru Bayur, Aru Lantahon, Aru Apoi, Aru Rikut and Aru Alip.

“This contribution is a gesture of love for the family descendants of the seven lineage who are less fortunate, including the elderly, single mothers, persons with disabilities (OKU) and those without a steady income,” he said.

He noted that the contributions may not be substantial, but it demonstrates Pusaka’s concern for the members.

Pusaka is an association registered under the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS) on July 13, 2013, after the “Jejak Kasih” (Family Reunion) programme for the Ontoros @ Antenom Warriors’ families, held on March 12-13, 2012, at Kampung Salarom Baru Nabawan.
