KOTA KINABALU: Dashcam footage has surfaced of a road accident involving a four-wheel drive (4x4) vehicle and a motorcyclist in Putatan on Monday.

Info X reported that the incident is believed to have occurred at about 8.15am, with the video showing a 4x4 colliding with a motorcyclist who emerged from a junction on the left lane.

The condition of the motorcyclist has yet to be confirmed, and it was reported that efforts are underway to obtain further details regarding the accident.

Meanwhile, Facebook users gave mixed reactions, with some saying the motorcyclist should have been more cautious, while others said the 4x4 should not have been using the right lane to go straight, and several shared road safety advice.
