Kota Kinabalu: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) called on City Hall (DBKK) to intensify efforts in beautifying the city centre for tourism purposes.
Nominated Assemblyman Datuk Chin Shu Ying said improving the urban landscape is crucial as tourist arrivals continue to recover, in order to leave a positive impression on visitors.
Chin, also LDP Secretary-General, said this when he led a delegation to pay a courtesy visit to Mayor Datuk Seri Sabin Samitah at his office here.
He said the party submitted a series of proposals to DBKK to address long-standing public complaints and enhance the quality of life for residents in the State Capital.
“During the meeting, we also raised a range of urban issues and offered what it described as constructive suggestions and practical solutions.
