KENINGAU: SM St. Francis Xavier (SM SFX) raised RM62,280 through its 2026 Jogathon, which saw strong participation from students, staff, and the local community.
Organised in collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) and the School Management Board, the event aimed to fund infrastructure development and support co-curricular activities for students.
The Jogathon was officially launched by Rafie Robert, Chairman of the Keningau Tourism and Cultural Association, who praised the school community for their dedication in making the programme a success.
“This achievement reflects the strong partnership between the school, parents, and community in strengthening education. Investing in education is a long-term investment that will shape the nation’s future,” he said, expressing appreciation to all contributors, including donors, teachers, parents, and students.
The school described the Jogathon’s success as a testament to the community’s spirit of togetherness and commitment to advancing educational development.
The funds raised will be used transparently to improve school facilities and enhance student development and leadership programmes, supporting the goal of nurturing competitive and well-rounded future generations.
