Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested another suspect over alleged submission of false documents involving claims amounting to about RM500,000.
The suspect, in his 40s, was detained at about 3.30pm on Tuesday when he turned up to give a statement at the MACC Sabah office.
According to a source, the suspect, believed to be a civil servant and also a company director, is suspected of collaborating with another suspect previously arrested on Monday.
Both are alleged to be involved in submitting documents containing false particulars to secure a cleaning services contract at a police office in the State.
The value of the contract is estimated at RM500,000.
Sabah MACC Director Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah confirmed the arrest.

He said the case is being investigated under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009.
