KOTA KINABALU: Visitors to the Program Jualan Rahmah Madani (PJRM) are reminded to download the eCOSS application to qualify for the purchase of subsidised cooking oil.
PJRM Assistant Operations Officer George Thomas said the use of the eCOSS application is mandatory to record every subsidised cooking oil purchase by consumers at all sales locations.

“The application is required whether at mobile PJRM programmes or retail premises for the purchase of 1kg packet cooking oil under the implementation of the new control system.
“Failure to use eCOSS will result in the purchase of subsidised cooking oil not being permitted,” he said when met during the Special Satellite Programme for the Madani Community Feast in Kampung Talungan, Saturday.
Meanwhile, PJRM cupervisor Mah Min Hui said the programme offers 70 essential goods at prices lower than the market rate.
“Among the items offered are basic food necessities such as eggs, cooking oil, instant noodles and biscuits.
“The prices offered are approximately 20 to 30 per cent lower compared to regular retail stores,” she said.
The eCOSS application is a digital monitoring system developed to record purchases of subsidised cooking oil and assist retailers and authorities in monitoring quotas.
