LAHAD DATU: The Lahad Datu Chinese Chamber of Commerce contributed six office chairs to Hospital Lahad Datu to provide greater comfort for pharmacy staff while serving patients.
The chairs were handed over by Lahad Datu Chinese Chamber of Commerce Chairman Tan Cheng Teng to Hospital Chief Administrative Officer Koo Jia Lin, witnessed by Hospital Director Dr Esmar Abdul Hamid.
Koo expressed sincere appreciation to Tan and members of the Chamber for the thoughtful contribution, noting that the chairs arrived at a meaningful time for the department.
The contribution would help pharmacists and support staff carry out their duties more comfortably while attending to patients.
Dr Esmar said the district hospital had continued to receive support from Tan and the Chamber over the years through various forms of assistance.
The longstanding cooperation had benefited hospital operations and provided meaningful support to patients and the wider community in Lahad Datu.
Both parties also expressed hope that the close partnership would continue to contribute towards the wellbeing of local residents while helping to build a healthy and caring community.
