PAPAR: An Isuzu D-Max was destroyed in a fire at Hakka Memorial Park in Kampung Tanaki here early Friday, while one person sustained minor injuries.

The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department said firefighters from the Papar station received the call at 6.28am and arrived at the scene at 6.50am, where the vehicle was found completely engulfed in flames.

The victim had been taken to the hospital by members of the public before firefighters arrived, and the operation was brought under control at 6.55am before ending at 7.08am after personnel confirmed the area was safe.
