FIRSTLY, I wish to thank the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Musa Aman (in his capacity as our Assemblyman) and our MP, Datuk Jusli Ajirol, for sealing our road from Jalan RTM to Kg Sg Padas which was a gravel road.However, on behalf of the villagers of the Sungai Manila Settlement Scheme (Stage 3) I would like to urge both YBs to step in to resolve our problem of not being compensated fairly.

Before the sealing of the road, the contractor got us to fill forms on the number of our fruit trees, including oil palm affected.

The road has now been sealed but we villagers have yet to receive a single cent.

Looks like development does not necessarily bring good news or happiness.
