Kota Kinabalu: Kelantan came from two-goal down to draw 2-2 with Sabah in the President Cup match at the Likas Stadium on Wednesday.Subsitute Mohd Syamry was the hero for his team when he managed to lob the ball over Sabah's custodian Endre S Tipay into the net with practically the last kick of the game.

Endre had a good game prior to that and it was his saves throughout the match that helped Sabah to stay in the lead with goals from Rahman Shah who scored one in each half.

The first was a header in the sixth minute from a corner delivery by Azwan Fattah and the second came in an identical situation from Azwan but this time he shot a grounder past the Kelantan keeper from close range.

Kelantan who had most of the ball possession finally found the net from a free kick just outside the box in the 73rd minute.

Muhd Farouqi's shot was just too powerful for Endre although he guessed the right direction but was unable to stop the ball.

The draw was history repeated itself for both teams but this time in favour of Kelantan.

Earlier in the season Kelantan also took a two-goal lead in their home ground but Sabah managed to draw in similar fashion with the equaliser deep into injury time as well.

This was Sabah sixth draws of the season and with two more matches to go in the prelimiary rounds, they have collected only 15 points from 15 matches with only three wins and seven losses.

Their next match is against Negri Sembilan on June 3 followed by the final game here with Selangor PKNS FC on June 10.
