Rhinos end season with a disappointing defeat to UiTM

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Rhinos ended their Premier League season with a disappointing 1-2 defeat to Selangor UiTM FC at Likas Stadium, here, on Friday night.The home team created numerous chances but their unconvincing finishers had failed them yet again.Rhinos' import Igor Cerina made a try as early as three minutes into the game but his effort went wide.

Maxsius Musa was the busiest player in the match as he made many efforts to penetrate the visiting team's defensive line.Cerina redeemed himself in the 24th minute when he scored the opening goal with a beautiful header and the score remained 1-0 until the end of the first half.UiTM's John Landa Matkin scored the equaliser in the 53rd minute to the dismay of home fans. Raslam Khan Abd Rashid then score the winning goal for UiTM in the 76th minute.
