FAIM to host Asian Business Conference 2016 in Labuan

Kuala Lumpur: The Federation of Asian Institute of Management Alumni Associations, Inc (FAIM), in collaboration with the Labuan Development Foundation, will host the Asian Business Conference (ABC 2016) in Labuan from Nov 10-11.The event this year will cover issues relevant to the Asean economic integration.

In a statement Tuesday, FAIM said the conference, themed, "Labuan: Connecting Asian Economies", was also aimed at highlighting Labuan as a vital centre of connection in the region.

"We expect 250 participants from throughout the region, including businessmen, policy makers, corporate leaders and academicians, as well as international AIM alumni,," it said.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, will officiate the event and deliver the Keynote Address. FAIM believes the conference will achieve its main objective of promoting Labuan as a viable and attractive business and leisure destination, as well as, provide a platform for networking among the delegates. – Bernama
