Kota Kinabalu: A consumer won a brand new Yamaha scooter, courtesy of Sazarice Sdn Bhd after taking part in the Jom Beli Menang fragrant rice sale contest organised by the rice distributor in collaboration with Servay Supermarket last weekend.Chong Kwee Fah beat hundreds others to come out on top while Junaidi Ali who came second is the new owner of an iPhone 6S. Salimah Hamzah claimed the third prize, a 4-item kitchen set comprising a Samsung microwave oven, Philips pressure cooker, Panasonic juicer/blender and a Kenwood handmixer.Ten consolation prize winners each took home a RM300 Servay gift voucher.

The prizes were presented by Sazarice Head of Marketing Rayner Kilik at Servay Penampang Baru, witnessed by its branch executive Rohani Latong.The sales campaign ran from Oct 10 till Dec 31 last year at six Servay outlets; four in Kota Kinabalu and one each in Kota Marudu and Keningau.
Consumers who purchased a 10kg pack of Sazarice fragrant rice at these outlets automatically qualified to participate in the contest which rewarded three monthly winners with a RM200 Servay gift voucher each besides the finale lucky draws.

Concurrent contests were separately conducted in Sandakan in cooperation with four Genting Mas supermarkets, in Lahad Datu with Kedai Ramai-Ramai and in Tawau with three different supermarkets.

"The contest represented a token of appreciation for our loyal customers," said Rayner, adding that more such sales campaigns would be held from time to time to benefit consumers in various parts of the State and Labuan.
