Sponsorship for KL 2017 reaches RM70 million

Putra Jaya: The Ministry of Youth and Sports is confident of meeting the RM80 million sponsorship target for both the 29th SEA Games and the ninth Para Asean Games, which is also known as KL 2017.Its minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the Malaysian Organising SEA Games Committee (Masoc) managed to collect RM70 million worth of sponsorship so far and believed the remaining target of RM10 million is achievable before the games starts in August."I feel good as we have reached almost 90 per cent despite the challenging economic situation at the moment.
