Kota Kinabalu: A 28-year-old local, who allegedly murdered his mother in Kota Belud seven months ago, will go on trial on Feb 26-March 1 next year.High Court Judge Datuk Nurchaya Arshad set the date for Bukhari Jinol during pre-trial case management on Monday.Bukhari is accused of committing the crime to one Teh Juari, 56, at 10.40pm on May 1, this year at a house in Kg Linau, Kota Belud.

He claimed trial to the charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code which carries the death penalty on conviction.
