Kota Belud: The public are welcomed to join the district Persatuan Bajau Sama Sabah (PBSS) launch on Feb 9 and 10.Its chairperson Idris Nanti said various activities have been lined up on the first day, including a tele match at 8am and the finals of the "Lagu-Lagu Sama" singing competition at night.On the second day, he said there will be guest artiste appearances, a "betitik" competition, "sipak manggis", a Sarimpak beauty pageant and "ngelabu penjaram".

Idris also welcomes all the associations and bodies in the district to take part, including Usbo, Usto, Perisa, Pagisa, Tobisa, KDCA, Tiong Hwa and Sino Kadazan Dusun Murut.The ceremony, he said is expected to be officiated by PBSS president cum State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
