Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Rhinos' unbeaten run in the Malaysia Cup came to shuddering halt Monday when they suffered a 4-0 loss to Pahang in their final Group D match at Likas Stadium, here.Goals from Pahang's Norsharul Idlan in the 9th minute, Muhd Zuhair Aizat (37th), Patrick Cruz (78th) and Issey Nakajima's effort deep into second half added time condemned Sabah to its first loss in the group stage.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Despite the defeat, the team still proceeded into the quarter-finals stage after having already secured their last eight berth before Monday's game. Sabah finished top of the group with 13 points with Pahang second on 11 points.
