Ibrahim wins an Iriz after hole-in-one

KOTA KINABALU: Ibrahim Pudin hit a hole-in-one to win a Proton Iriz 1.3 at the revived KPD Open Golf Tournament 2019, held at Dalit Bay Country Club (DBCC), Tuaran on Saturday.
The lucky winner sank the ball first time on the 17th hole to receive the car key from Datuk Christinus Chu, director of Fook Loi Sdn Bhd who sponsored the prize.

A total of 97 golfers took part in the event and Pailin Jani captured the Nett title with second place going to Datuk Joannes Solidau and Khairy Syazwan Saiman in third while the Invitees title went to Aris Pairan followed by Dato Khairul Annuar Abd Aziz and Datuk Dr. Joachim Gunsalam.
In the novelties categories, nearest to line on hole 7 was won by Edmund Lo (2cm) and Christopher Ligadu (13cm) in second.
Raubin Gampilok (270m) and Dalius Gahun (266m) finished first and second in the longest drive on hole 18.

The nearest to pin hole 8 was won by Mohd Ashary BJ Nadzmie (8.54m) while Puney Kiob @ Robert (4.53m) was the nearest to pin hole 11.

Zulfikar Khomeini Asli (6.0m) won the target pin (Fairway) on hole 13, and the two bull eyes category won by Palin Zaini, Junaidy Along dan Jumat Latip on hole 4 and Ibrahim Pudin on hole 17. - GL Oh
