Man held for deceiving traders

Lahad Datu: A local man in his 30s who posed as a civil servant and deceived traders was detained with an imitation gun in front of a bank at Bandar Sri Perdana on Friday last week.District Police Chief ACP Hamzah Ahmad on Tuesday said the detention of the unemployed suspect was made at about 8.30pm.Hamzah said following public information, a team of police from the Criminal Investigation Department nabbed the suspect and seized an imitation gun in his pouch bag.
