Tenom: The Government will upgrade a 35.6 kilometer rural road stretch in Ulu Tomani, here, through the Rural Road Programme (JALB) at a cost of RM189,068,550.Rural Development Minister Datuk Dr Abd Latiff Ahmad said the project is expected to be a catalyst for the economic development of the community from Kuala Tomani to Ulu Tomani.
He said the project involves the upgrading of existing roads as the stretches are damaged with potholes and become muddy during rainy season while dusty during droughts.
